Our mission is to make high-quality biblical and theological training accessible to those who need it most. Many church leaders in the Majority World are passionate about serving their communities but often lack the formal training and resources necessary to deepen their understanding of Scripture and strengthen their ministry skills. ITEM is committed to closing this gap, equipping leaders with the knowledge and tools they need to faithfully shepherd their congregations and engage their communities with the gospel.
Equipping Leaders through Ministry Training Centers
ITEM equips church leaders through Ministry Training Centers (MTCs)—a mobile training site designed to reach pastors and leaders in their own contexts. The MTC program is built around a 3-year comprehensive curriculum that includes 100 hours of live instruction delivered by experienced trainers. This structure allows us to bring solid biblical teaching directly to local church leaders, ensuring that they receive practical, relevant instruction that they can apply in their ministry settings.
Our MTCs are strategically mobile, allowing us to reach those in remote or underserved areas who may not have access to traditional seminaries. We come to where the leaders are, making it possible for them to continue serving their communities while receiving training. This approach enables leaders to learn while staying rooted in their ministry context, fostering immediate impact.
